Introduction

Welip acts as an intermediary, putting you in direct contact with the owners when you book. Contracts are concluded and payments are made directly to the owners by bank transfer, without going through the Welip website. However, we remain at your disposal to help you organize your stay in Guadeloupe.


1-Property: Seasonal rental property is fully furnished

2-Tenant: The tenant is the person who rents the property and is referred to as the "Host".

3-Maximum occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed is limited to the number indicated in the advertisement, unless expressly agreed otherwise by the owner. Additional charges starting from 25 € per person per night may apply beyond the number of guests indicated on the ad and without the owner's agreement. 

4-Lease terms: The seasonal rental lease begins on the day of arrival from the time of entry into the accommodation and ends at the agreed time of departure.

Failure to respect the departure time may result in a late charge of €30/hour, unless otherwise agreed.

5-Minimum stay: The minimum stay at the property is limited. The minimum stay may be extended during the high season.

6-Rental Regulations: The Guest agrees to abide by the Rental Regulations (attached to this contract) at all times during his/her stay at the property, and undertakes to ensure that these regulations are observed by all members of the renting party as well as by any person invited by the Guest during the period of the stay.

7-Access: The Host agrees to allow the Owner access to the property to carry out repairs, inspect the property or in the event of an emergency. The Owner agrees to exercise his right of access to the property in a reasonable manner by giving the Host at least 24 hours notice prior to arrival, except in the case of an emergency.

8-Rental rates and fees:

9-Deposit: A deposit is payable at least 0 days before the Arrival Date.

OPTION A The deposit is charged by pre-authorization on credit card for security purposes and will be released within 7 days after the Arrival Date, provided no deduction is made due to:

i. damage to property or furnishings;

dirt or clutter requiring extra cleaning hours; or

iii.any other costs incurred by the Owner as a result of the Guest's stay.

OPTION B The deposit is non-refundable and deductible from the rental charge.

If the property appears dirty or damaged on arrival, the Guest undertakes to inform the Owner immediately.

Rental rate: (see invoice details)

Cancellation policy: Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if arrival date is 14 days or more. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival date. No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.

The Owner also reserves the right to cancel the Guest's stay if the Rental Regulations are not complied with during the rental period.

10. Insurance: Renters are encouraged to take out a travel insurance policy in the event of unforeseen circumstances, accidents or any other problem that may prevent the Host from travelling or complying with the terms of this contract.

11. Payment: The following methods of payment are accepted:

Bank transfer

Unless otherwise specified, all payments will be made by transfer to the owners' bank account (for rental payments), or to the agency's account (for additional services).

Privacy Policy

The information collected on this form is recorded in a computerized file for Welip's customer/prospect management. It will be kept until you request its deletion and is intended for Welip. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, you may exercise your right to access and rectify your personal data by contacting Welip.

Cancellation policy Strictes:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the arrival date is 14 days or more away.

50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to arrival, no refund for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.

Welip puts you in touch with the owner when you make a booking. All contracts and payments are made directly between you and the owner. We remain at your disposal to help you organize your stay in Guadeloupe.

‍RÈGLEMENTINTÉRIEUR DES LOGEMENTS

‍Compliancewith the Seasonal Rental Property Rules and Regulations is mandatory as part of the Seasonal Rental Contract. Failure to comply with these rules may result in penalties, such as re-holds on the security deposit.

‍CONDITIONSGÉNÉRALES

‍AllGuests (and all Visitors) must comply with the House Rules and any other instructions provided by the Property Manager during their stay ;

Guests must inform the Property Manager of any incidents or complaints from neighbors as soon as possible.

‍REGLESSANITAIRES (CORONAVIRUS - COVID 19)

The virus is still active throughout the country, so please apply barrier measures.

NOISE AND NEIGHBORS

a) Guests are fully responsible under all circumstances for the safety of their children and for any disturbance caused to the neighbourhood;

Guests and Visitors must make as little noise as possible so as not to disturb the residents of neighboring properties, especially during the night from 10 pm to 8 am, as well as during arrival and departure ;

Noise pollution is prohibited at all hours and may result in termination of the Seasonal Rental Contract, eviction, loss of expenses incurred and deductions from the security deposit;

Guests and any Visitors must not behave in an antisocial manner. They are asked to minimize their immediate impact on the neighborhood and local residents.

VISITORS

Guests are authorized to invite Visitors at any time during their stay with the agreement of the Property Manager, who will determine the number of Visitors.

Hosts are responsible for ensuring that the maximum number of Visitors is not exceeded, and that Visitors comply with the Internal Regulations.

Guests wishing to invite Visitors to stay overnight at the Seasonal Rental Property must inform the Property Manager at the time of booking, subject to additional charges as indicated in the pricing. 

PARTIES AND EVENTS

It is strictly forbidden to hold parties or any other type of large-scale gathering in the Seasonal Rental. 

All small-group gatherings must comply with the other rules stipulated in these regulations, in particular with regard to Noise, Neighbourhood and the number of Visitors allowed.

PARKING

Guests and Visitors must comply with local parking regulations, as well as the other conditions listed below, and are asked to show consideration for neighbors and other vehicles;

Parking at the Seasonal Rental Property is as follows:

WASTE AND SELECTIVE SORTING

Guests and Visitors must dispose of their garbage and recycling in the garbage cans provided and in accordance with the procedures in force at the Seasonal Rental Property. Under no circumstances may garbage be left in public areas or common areas; 

Garbage and waste for recycling must be disposed of as follows in designated collection areas, usually located close to housing.

SAFETY

Whenever Guests leave the Holiday Home, they are responsible for ensuring that all windows and doors are closed and/or locked in order to preserve the security of the accommodation and to prevent potential rain damage.

Guests must turn off lights, air conditioning, fans and electronic devices such as televisions when not in use in order to conserve energy. It is forbidden to leave the air conditioning on when Guests are away from the Seasonal Rental Property.

JACCUZI / SWIMMING POOL (if applicable)

The jacuzzi / swimming pool may only be used between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in condominiums (ask the Property Manager for further details).

For safety reasons, the use of glass is prohibited in or around the pool. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine being deducted from the security deposit.

10.BALCONY / TERRACE (if applicable)

Guests must supervise babies and children at all times when using the balcony or terrace.

The following rules apply to the use of balconies and terraces 

11.TOBACCO

a) Guests are not permitted to smoke in the Seasonal Rental Property;

Guests must dispose of their cigarette butts properly (e.g. in the ashtrays provided) and must not, under any circumstances, throw them into the grounds of the Property. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a deduction from the security deposit.

12.PETS

Pets are not allowed in the Seasonal Rental Property

13.BARBECUE (if applicable)

Reminder: barbecuing is dangerous;

Keep the right distances and use the equipment provided;

Keep children at a distance;

Store ignition materials and products in designated areas;

Make sure the barbecue is switched off and keep a safe distance from any flammable objects.

14.BREAKAGE AND DAMAGE

Any broken object or damage caused must be reported to the Property Manager as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in a deduction from the security deposit.

To avoid breakage and damage, furniture must not be moved from one room to another without prior agreement. 

Towels must not leave the property (e.g. to go to the beach). Beach towels are available for some properties. 

Toilet use : 

The lid should be behind you when you sit down. 

Use the toilet paper supplied when you're finished. Do not throw anything into the bowl other than the paper provided.

Dispose of used paper in the bowl. 

Make sure you flush the toilet.

15.START

The following rules apply to the handing over of keys, security, cleaning, garbage disposal, etc., and in general each property must be left in a perfectly clean condition.

Put dirty laundry on the floor on a mat or in the bathtub (if applicable)

Turn off air conditioning, lights and taps....

Close doors and shutters

Put away dishes, clean barbecue if necessary

If using jerrycans of water, refill if necessary

Sort your rubbish and dispose of it (if the public garbage cans are full, keep them in your home and seal the bags securely). 

Make sure the front door and outside access are closed.

Each apartment has its own rules for handing over keys. Please consult them on your application.

17.COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS

Violation of any rule included in these Internal Regulations constitutes a violation of the General Conditions of Occupancy, in accordance with the Rental Contract. 

The Owner and Manager reserve the right to terminate the occupancy permit and evict from the Seasonal Rental Property any Guest or Visitor who refuses to abide by the House Rules or causes a nuisance that disturbs neighbors or other residents of the community.
